California Solar Projects

Dominion Energy owns a majority interest in a number of solar projects located in California.

Midway 2

  • Entered service In June 2017
  • 30 megawatts
  • Located on 320 acres northwest of Calipatria in Imperial County
  • Acquired from Solar Frontier Americas
  • A 25-year power purchase agreement is in place with the Imperial Irrigation District, a public power utility in California serving the Imperial Valley
  • Facility uses single-axis tracker technology and consists of approximately 242,000 solar modules
