Annual Sustainability Assessment

Along with other members of the Sustainable Supply Chain Alliance (SSCA), we annually assess select key materials and services suppliers’ sustainability practices. The assessment, hosted via TSP, is broken into two main parts: core sustainability questions and additional industry-specific questions.

Core sustainability questions:

  • Specific questions about environmental, social, and governance policies/practices
  • GHG emissions data, energy use, water use, and waste generation

Industry-specific questions:

  • Assessment of industry-focused environmental practices dependent on business type

Momentum

Momentum is Dominion Energy's annual Supply Chain Sustainability event. Established in 2020, this virtual event unites suppliers with Dominion Energy employees to review Dominion Energy’s commitments, clarify expectations, and provide educational materials on relevant sustainability topics.

Sustainable Partner Awards

The Momentum Sustainable Partner Award is presented to suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. Suppliers submit case studies of sustainable partnerships with Dominion Energy to qualify for the award. Since 2022, we have incorporated this award into our Momentum event to showcase our partnerships with suppliers.

Previous winners of the award include Nalco, Environmental Resources Management (ERM), Wesco, and C. W. Wright Construction Company.
