Step 2. Interconnect Feasibility Study

Once the form is received we will initiate preliminary feasibility of the project as well as evaluate basic information for the interconnect point. Some items that will be considered in this evaluation are:

• Feedstock
• Location / Proximity to nearest pipeline
• Production / Injection volume range
• Energy value
• RNG gas quality

From this provided data, a high-level assessment will be made as to the viability of RNG interconnection on our system. If the project is operationally viable, we will then develop a high-level gas planning model to include injection capacity, effect downstream or on sensitive customers and maximum allowed operating pressures (MAOPs).

Step 3. Detailed Design and Engineering Study

This study is performed to determine scope, costs, and projected timelines of the project. Items that will be considered are:

• Planning, Design and Engineering analysis
• Land acquisition / Right-of-ways
• Equipment Costs
• Construction and Operating Costs
• Drawings and Permitting

Step 4. Execute RNG Interconnect Agreement

Upon completion of the detailed engineering study and agreement of the parties to proceed, negotiations on the RNG Interconnect Agreement can begin. This interconnect agreement will focus on the commercial terms and conditions of accepting gas from the proposed RNG facility. Some features included, but not limited to are:

• Payment of interconnect costs
• Gas measurement requirements
• Operation & Maintenance
• Gas Quality Monitoring
• Billing Terms and Conditions

Once the agreement is executed, construction of the interconnect will be planned and scheduled.
