Event Notice: Dominion Energy has called a Smart Thermostat Rewards event, a Water Energy Rewards event, an EV Charger Rewards event, and an EV Tesla Telematics event Jan. 22, from 6 am to 9 am. Dominion Energy has called an EV Charger Rewards event and an EV Tesla Telematics event Jan. 22, from 7 pm to 8 pm. Smart Thermostat Rewards customers may notice a slight temperature increase in their homes. Water Energy Rewards customers may notice a slight decrease in their hot water temperature. EV Rewards & Telematics customers’ EVs will not charge without an override. Water Energy Savings Demand Response

During periods of high demand, Dominion Energy may call an “event” whereby program participants’ devices are cycled on and off at defined intervals.

Dominion Energy has called the following events:

2025 Water Energy Rewards Summary:  3 events / 5 hours to date

  • January 20, 9 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • January 21, 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
  • January 22, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
